Psychological Services

The LCYDC Department of Psychological Services provides the following services:

• > Clinical oversight of Intensive Residential Treatment Facility
• > Residential & out-patient psychological assessments for children and adolescents.
• > Individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
• > Emergency mental status examinations.
• > Clinical diagnoses & referral recommendations.
• > Psychological consultation.
• > Psychiatric consultation.

External referrals accepted from the Department of Human Resources, the Alabama Department of Youth Services, and the Juvenile Court Systems. Internal referrals accepted from programs agency-wide.
